Lahaye University for open learning was established as a non-profit academic, scientific and autonomous institution located in Hague (Den Haag), and registered with the Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of the Netherlands under number KVK 27 320 687, with the Notary Public under No. AVB/ 500191.01, and managed and supervised by a group of academics specialized in different fields of knowledge. Lahaye University aims to serve the Arab and Human community, develop all aspects of knowledge for its students in accordance with the following objectives:  

1.  Contributing to the development of higher education in various disciplines.

2.  Qualifying the academic staff in the latest academic disciplines and courses along with the provision of quality education in line with the requirements of the contemporary higher education.

3.  Contributing to the provision of study opportunities at all levels for those who have not had the opportunities to complete their higher education, regardless of age, sex or residence, in addition to the development and update the skills of students.

4.   Establishment of a modern scientific center to accomplish the scientific researches and direct such researches to serve the community and development plans.

5.  To ensure the viability and quality of the academic programs through a constant evaluation of the results of the educational process.

6.  Strengthening the academic and cultural ties with other universities, in a manner that contributes to development of the university and enhances its scientific and academic status. 

In light of these objectives, Lahaye University is working hard to provide opportunities for all students wishing to enhance their academic and cultural study in Arabic or English, especially for those whose their circumstances did not allow them to continue their higher education, and to provide the opportunity also for all of the community members, wherever they are to develop their level of education and skills to enable them to enter into the labor market in a better way and to contribute to the process of development.
